Mission Statement
MarriageU exists to strengthen, equip and empower sustainable healthy marriages.
Approach
Much of what’s been written and taught on marriage takes a “pathology” approach, focusing on
what is wrong in the marriage. MarriageU seeks to take a more comprehensive approach that presents
strategic insights and information that can make marriages far more healthy, happy, lasting and more mutually satisfying.
MarriageU does not see marriage as an institution, but rather as a living thing
that requires care and cultivation for growth and maturity. It requires developmental tasks and processes, as well
as key skills (which can be learned) to facilitate the successful navigation of these tasks and processes.
While most weekend marriage seminars skim the surface and touch on highlights, MarriageU
strives to provide a deeper level of training that can only be revealed and retained over a longer period of time.
This is critical because marriage is a dynamic relationship that changes over time, so different skills are required
at different stages of maturation.
MarriageU is unique because it was founded to provide couples (students) a
lifelong opportunity to never stop learning and growing together.
